Neighbour Cup semi finals, - the old school and the new.

The unsettled conditions didn't spoil the Neighbour Cup (Mens Triples) semi -finals, held on Saturday 29th July. Mick Bailey, Dennis Robertson and Syd Attridge ran out 19 - 15 winners in a tight game over Mike Peck, Roger Lawson and John Hipwell. In the other game, Del Behenna, Tony Liggins and Stuart Ray saw off the challenge of Richard Ferguson, Simon Hill and Brendan McGinty by 24 shots to 14. Good to see Dennis in yet another final in his 52nd year as a member and to see three new members, Roger, Simon and Brendan involved in their first competitions.
