Our returning sponsors, Aston Hearing, have generously supplied the Club with 12 regulation Bowls 

Foot/Delivery mats for the coming season. They were presented to us on Wednesday 7th January and

will be put to good use when the season begins in April. Thank You, Aston Hearing!

 

 

 

Our AGM was well attended, with over 50 members present. President Tony Lambert proposed a big vote of thanks to retiring chairman, Richard Ferguson, both for his work in committee and his invaluable contribution to Clubhouse maintenance over the years since he became a member in 2007. Graham Liggins will take over as Chairman in 2026. Also stepping down is Fixtures Secretary Mick Bailey. His replacement, Phil Hughes, is already planning our 2026 schedule. All other offices and committee positions remained the same.

Dennis Robertson stepped down from his duties as Mid Bucks League and Bucks Cup selector, a task that he has performed with dedication and wisdom for as long as anyone at the Club can remember. A massive thank you to Dennis. Del Behenna has agreed to take over and has big boots to fill! 

Brendan McGinty was presented with the Fred and Jessie Parker Trophy for his excellent work regarding sponsorship.

The need for more volunteers to come forward to helpwith the maintenance of the Clubhouse and surrounds was impressed on those present.

 

Congratulations to Mark Baxter and Graham Barlow, who have both received their Level One Coaches Certificates from the English Bowls Coaching Society. They will join Tony Liggins on our Coaching Staff.
