July 11th : In the Area Final of the National Men's Senior Pairs, Tony and Del's good run came to an end when they took on Tom Mcevaddy and Graham Line away (for the 4th time) at Bletchley Town. The opening 5 ends were shared 5 shots each, but the Bletchley boys had opened up an 11 shot lead after 12 ends. Our pair reduced this deficit to 5, winning the next 3 ends, but were unable to make further inroads in the last 3 ends and the final scorecard read 20 - 13 in favour of the Home pair.
