MAY 26th : This was our first fixture with visitors High Wycombe for many years. The weather was not kind, with heavy showers spoiling much of the afternoon, but when a welcome cup of tea was served after 9 ends, Risborough had taken a healthy 27 shot lead, 51 -24. When play resumed, the shots were equally shared, so after 18 ends, Risborough had maintained their 27 shot advantage and ran out winners by 92 to 65. The win was very much due to our top threesome, Graham Barlow, Sue Ablett and Keith Puddephatt who recorded a staggering 37 shots to 3 scoreline. We visit Wycombe on Sunday 25th August for the return fixture.
