AUGUST 22nd: Just 3 triples at home to Aston Clinton and the result was 52 - 39 in favour of our visitors. Two of the three triples were successful, but a heavy defeat on the third rink gave Aston the win. On a really bright note, we welcomed Harvey Longman, aged 15, for his first game. He led and the triple won 15 - 11. Well done, Harvey, the youngest player to wear our colours for many a year. Best trio was Tony Lambert, Brendan McGinty and Tony Liggins, who finished 19 - 10 to the good.
