July 12th : Weather wise, it wasn't just a warm welcome to our guests from Cheddington, it was a scorching one. With the mercury rising to 30 plus degrees, the bowling had to be hot stuff. A special mention to Chrissie Ford and Alan Phipps, both playing their first games for us and it was well played Chrissie, who, along with Richard Beckett and Richard Ferguson were our top rink. Their 21 - 8 score helped us to an overall win by 82 shots to 67.
