MAY 13th : Our defence of the Jubille Cup, played for annually against Chesham, was a real nail biting affair. We hoped to take a shot advantage to Chesham on 2nd July for the second leg, but scores of 16 -14, 13 - 17, 14 - 15 and 18 - 15 all added up to a thrilling 61 shots each drawn match. We therefore need to draw or beat Chesham in the return leg to retain the Cup. Jeanette Allnutt, Keith Puddephatt and Neil Perry were the 18 -15 best rink.
