May 12th : 4 triples travelled to Chess Vale on a very unsettled afternoon. Despite interruptions, 12 ends had been played before the heavy thunder showers won the day and play was abandoned. Perhaps that was a relief for us as Chess Vale were winning the match by 58 shots to 34.
