AUGUST 28th : The final week of the Ray Keen League and both of our teams in action signed off with wins. In Division One, the A team visited Aylesbury Ducks and returned with a 21 - 13 victory. Meanwhile, at home, the B team hosted the Hazells Hotshots and maitained their unbeaten record with a 19 shots to 14 win.
 
The Final Standings in the Central League of this County Competition were as follows:
 
Div. 1 : Champions were Crendon Evans Above. Our A team finished 3rd. Relegated , the Aylesbury Ducks
 
Div 2 : Winners and promoted were Cheddington Bees. Relegated, Aston Clinton Diamonds.
 
Div 3 : Winners and promoted were Hazells Nutters. Relegated, Wingrave Woodchuckers
 
Div 4 : Winners and promoted were the Usual Suspects (Crendon). Relegated, Cheddington Chancers.
 
Div 5 : WINNERS AND PROMOTED were RISBORO B. Our C team finished 4th of 5.
 
THIS COMPETITION IS GAINING IN POPULARITY EACH SEASON. It now involves 126 teams playing in 22 divisions over 5 regions. I estimate that that involves over 800 bowlers. Perhaps we could field 4 teams in 2025
