20th SEPTEMBER: Although four triples travelled to Chess Vale, rain of biblical proportions meant that there was no chance of bowls being played, even on their artificial surface. The tea and biscuits were nice, however and I think we won that one by 64 Bourbons to 61 Custard Creams.
