May 25th : Our visit to High Wycombe Bowls Club on a sunny but breezy day resulted in a very tight match. We found ourselves 13 shots adrift after 9 ends had been played across the 5 triples, but it all changes after a cup of tea , so they say, and Princes Risborough gained the narrowest of victories by a single shot, 83 - 82. Richard Beckett, Angela Adlam and Richard Ferguson were our top performers, winning by 22 shots to 8. Wycombe will surely be looking for reveng e when they visit us for the return fixture on Sunday 24th August.
