June 28th :  Although the temperature had subsided by at least 12 degrees from the previous few days, the bowling was still red hot, especially from our visitors from Iver Heath in the Last 16 Knockout Round of the Bucks County Cup. Iver were quick off the blocks and were 26 shots ahead after just 6 ends across the 4 triples. We fought in vain after such a poor start, but were never likely to pull back the deficit against a squad of experienced, competitive players and had to give best by 85 shots to 50 at the finish. Good luck to Iver Heath when they play Bletchley Town in the 1/4 finals.
Meanwhile , Princes Risborough entertain Chesham in the 1/4 Finals of the Bucks Plate on Sunday 12th July at 10 am. Come along and watch.
