JUNE 12th : Hopes were high for a second victory in our third Bucks Cup game against Aylesbury Town. All four triples were closely contested but it was Risborough who looked more likely to gain the win with 3 ends to play on each rink. However, it was Aylesbury who turned the match around, scoring 20 shots to Risborough's 8 over those final 12 ends. The scores were 14 -17, 18 -21 and 15 -19 on Aylesbury's winning rinks with Risborough scraping a 2 shot win on the other, Alan Butler, Keith Puddephatt and Del Behenna managing a 21 - 19 win. So Aylesbury picked up a 12 points to 2 victory, a disappointing result for us.
