AUGUST 7th: Our A Team, in Division One of the Ray Keen League, visited Hazells Wunders but came away rather disappointed, losing by 23 shots to 10. Meanwhile, in Division 5, our B and C teams met and what an entertaining game it turned out to be. C were never behind, but B drew level at 12 - 12 after the 16th end. Shot bowl changed from side to side over the final two ends and the game finished 13 - 13, which all present agreed was a very fair result.
