JUNE 5th : Our second Bucks Cup encounter was yet another extremely close game against Long Crendon. With an end to play, the last triple to finish needed to pick up a single shot for the match to end tied at 65 shots apiece. But it wasn't to be - a shot was dropped and it was Crendon who won by 66 shots to 64 and a 10 -4 points tally.
Our 2 winning triples both had 7 shot wins, Mark Baxter, Tony Liggins and Ray Rouse, 19 - 12 at home and Alan Butler, Keith Puddephatt and Del Behenna, 22 - 15 away.
