JULY 27th : On a warm Saturday morning, the semi final games in the Neighbour Cup (Mens triples) were played.
On rink 2, Roger Lawson, Mark Baxter and Tony Liggins ran out 18 - 10 winners in a match in which they were never behind against Clive Walters, John Stallwood and Mike Peck. Rink 3 saw a really tight game of triples. Stuart Ray, Norman Gray and Del Behenna snatched victory with the last wood of the game to win 13 - 12 over Graham Barlow, Dennis Robertson and Richard Ferguson.
